a great concert! what's NEXT?

Bunny & Friends felt really great!

We only had ONE REHEARSAL! But we had such an awesome group of pros that work beautifully together!!! that we made really beautiful music.

One of our faithful music lovers asked when the next concert will be. Uh oh. This problem again. "I don't know" I had to say. Because we have to raise money to pay musicians for every single concert! wouldn't it be great if we had a fund that or a steady source of $ so we could devote more time to actually creating the programs, rehearsing, and educating queer student musicians!?!?

So I said you could join our board.

“What will I do on the board?” she asked.

Uh oh. again. deer in headlights…

I should have said…simply…find more wonderful people who support our mission. Give money in tax-deductible contributions and find more people to help us organize our board to be able to raise more dough (sorry for that phrase, if you are gluten-free).

We got support to pay half of the cost of contracting 5 musicians for Bunny & Friends! a grant! Maybe we can do another one of those! BUT we have to raise the other half of the $. And after hearing 5 musicians on our stage, its time to get 8 musicians to do OCTETS! So that will cost more! $9,716 to be exact (not including marketing and other costs, like snacks for our audience). (If we make the concert free again and get an MPTF grant, we must raise half…so about 4850)

Schubert was gay. Didja know that? He wrote a great octet!

Tell your friends about the concerts! Make a donation. Tell them to do so!

When will that concert be?

When we have $10,000 in the fiscal agency account (like a bank account except for non-profit projects).

The sooner you make that contribution, the sooner we can play that concert!

Help us make this a sustained effort. Get us over the top so we can create a sustaining fund for general operating and ‘projects’ (concerts for the public and for school kidz)

Come to a board meeting (they're only an hour long and they're only once a month) to find out more about our grant applications, concert plans, and education program development!

With much love,

Mx Bunny
